Spring Cleaning DIY Natural Cleaner
Something about fresh air and sunshine just makes you want to clean, doesn't it? I guess that's why "Spring Cleaning" is a thing.
We are in the middle of packing our house, so I honestly haven't been terribly motivated to clean, with the house staying in a constant state of disarray. However, I realized that I still need to live in a clean space, clutter or not! I brought out my trusty DIY natural cleaning spray to wipe down and freshen up everything from the tub (that really needs a daily wipe down since I bathe Penny in it so often) to her play mat to the countertops. Since these are all areas my increasingly active baby is touching, I feel better knowing I am using a non-toxic cleaner. It's seriously only a few ingredients and smells SO good.
I fill a spray bottle with the recommended ratio of warm water + Dr. Bronner's Pure Castile Soap (the ratio recomendation is on the bottle) and a few drops of lemon and grapefruit essential oils. I really like the Oui Fresh essential oils and it is a brand I completely trust. They also make bomb lipsticks, FYI.
I shake it all up and it works like a charm! Enjoy!
