The Saving Grace Portable High Chair

The Saving Grace Portable High Chair

Ya'll. I don't know what I did before this highchair came into my life.

That seems a bit extreme, but this really is a fantastic portable high chair.

I keep it in the back of my car, and it goes with us every time we eat at a restaurant.

I love it for many reasons. Here's a few:

1.) It's a clean alternative to restaurant high chairs. If you've ever worked in a restaurant, you've seen the things that happen on those chairs. Things of nightmares happen on those chairs. Not to mention some restaurants only have a couple, or no high chair at all, so this ensures your baby always has a seat AT the table.

2.) It's more comfortable than restaurant high chairs. This seat is cushioned, opposed to the hard, wooden chairs.

3.) It attaches directly to the table (it fits most tables, and I haven't found a table that it doesn't fit) so baby is sitting with you at the table. In a standard highchair, I always felt like she was not at the table, since the chair was lower than the table, and she was awkwardly at the end, almost in the walkway as waiters and guests passed by.

4.) It has a tray (not included) that attaches to the chair arms. This is sold separately and I believe was around $30, but let me tell you...worth. every. penny. I can just put her food right on the tray, clean it when she's done (baby wipes while out, then wash it when we get home) and toss it in the bag with the chair. Bag is included and attached to chair. YES PLEASE. The tray even has raised edges, so it makes it more of a task to push her food off the side. We tried those stick to the table mats, but she figured out how to rip those up in about 2 seconds. It took her even less time to flip those cute little divided food trays off the table, sending food flying all over the floor. The tray is gold. You need the tray.

5.) It is lightweight and travels well. As mentioned, I keep this in the back of my car in its handy little attached tote and carry it in with my diaper bag. Its light, easy to tote and easy to setup. It even has a handy little pocket on the back of the chair to store snacks. They really thought of everything here. I'm pretty sure we get asked about this thing every time we go out with it.

There you have it! My Friday favorite. Thanks so much for checking out this post and stay tuned for a new Friday Favorite next week.

XO,

Shannon
